Change of Plans
Amber and I met in Seattle yesterday morning, and right off the bat things started changing. We found out our flight from Seattle to Seoul, Korea was an hour and a half late. Immediately we started to worry, because our connection time from our flight in Korea to Cambodia was only supposed to be an hour. Halfway through our flight to Korea, the flight attendant told us that we were going to miss our flight. There's not much we could do over the middle of the ocean, and we were so tired we tried not to think about it and just kept watching one movie after the next on the personal player on the seat in front of us. Once we landed in Korea, we sat on the runway for an hour, completely losing any hope of ever making our connection. Once we finally got off our plane, we walked what seemed like a mile through the airport to try to rebook our ticket, only to find out that there's one flight to Cambodia from Seoul each day, and the one the next day was already booked. We're on standby for that flight now, hoping that we'll be able to make it tonight. Korean Air put us up in a nice hotel overnight, and payed for our meals. The hour drive to our hotel last night felt like 5 hours, but after lots of sleep and food, we're doing much better. We're hoping and praying we'll be seeing our new home in Cambodia soon! Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers!

Hi Alex,
ReplyDeleteYou don't know me,but we are both doing missionary work for the Lord. I am a first cousin to Ralph Harris,in that his dad (Connie) and my mom(Margaret)were brother and sister. I will be going with a group of nine people to India in October, from 2Oct-13Oct, and straight thereafter we will be going to Israel on a Holy land Pilgrimage. Our prayers are with you!
